Babylonous Family US seeks a proactive Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education at Little Sprouts in Boston. This role contributes to a sustainable learning environment and aligns with our Sustainable Education approach. The position offers a year‑round schedule from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement daily lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practice and sustainable education principles
- 2Lead classroom organization promoting environmental responsibility and mindful material use
- 3Model best practices for the teaching team ensuring high‑quality instruction
- 4Supervise children during learning activities meals transitions and outdoor exploration fostering nature connection
- 5Serve as Mandated Reporter documenting and reporting any suspected child abuse neglect or endangerment
- 6Support each child's developmental needs using observation and documentation to guide instruction
- 7Ensure 100 percent adherence to child safety protocols and document observations monthly
- 8Respond to family inquiries within 24 hours and participate in at least two family engagement events annually
- 9Maintain strong family satisfaction through consistent professional sustainability‑minded communication
- 10Complete 100 percent of annual training requirements and participate in quarterly professional development activities
- 11Coach and support Assistant Teachers in instructional practices and environmentally responsible routines
