Child Care Assistant Teacher, Early Childhood Education
Overview
You will own daily classroom support and child supervision for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years at BrightPath Kids in Braintree, MA. You will work side-by-side with lead teachers to deliver NAEYC-guided care and instruction. The team includes over 5,000 educators across a global Busy Bees community. No classroom experience is required, and paid training is provided. You will gain hands-on experience in early childhood education with a clear path for growth.
What You'll Do7
- 1Supervise children ages 6 weeks to 12 years to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
- 2Assist lead teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities.
- 3Decorate classroom interiors and exteriors to create an engaging learning environment.
- 4Maintain a clean, warm, and safe space that encourages exploration and growth.
- 5Interact with children to boost their participation in activities and social development.
- 6Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
- 7Complete paid training on all classroom procedures and NAEYC guidelines within the first 90 days.
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2Strong customer service skills for interacting with families and staff.
- 3Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic classroom setting.
- 4Must work within regular operating hours, no evenings or weekends.
- 5Meet state criteria for child care employment in Massachusetts.
- 6No prior classroom experience needed; paid training provided.
