Overview
Full time position supporting AI ML workflow development for NOAA Ecosystem Science Division. Develop automated data analysis pipelines using Python and C/C++. Deploy models on Google Cloud Platform. Provide technical leadership in image processing and remote sensing technologies.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop new data management systems and integrated workflows to increase efficiency
- 2Explore optical imagery data for AI/ML capability design and application
- 3Create software for optical imagery processing and web dashboards using Python and C/C++
- 4Deploy machine learning models on Google Cloud Platform using virtual machines
- 5Execute technical research projects and present findings in various forums
- 6Maintain application software and data management tools
- 7Collaborate across teams to improve fisheries management responsiveness
- 8Provide weekly progress updates through reports and presentations
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in mathematics statistics computer science computational science or data science with four years experience
- 2Master's degree or PhD may substitute for experience
- 3Proficiency in Python R and C/C++ programming
- 4Experience building automated workflows
- 5Ability to maintain application software and data management tools
- 6Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 7Teamwork and collaborative work environment capability
- 8Willingness to receive and implement constructive feedback
Salary Insight
$62 - $69k per year
