Data Engineer - Disney Experiences
Overview
Design and build technology architecture for data capture and management. Work on end-to-end digital guest experiences across attractions and entertainment. What You'll Do9
- 1Assist in designing, building, and overseeing deployment of technology architecture for data capture and management
- 2Support development of processes to efficiently channel and store structured and unstructured data
- 3Apply technical tools and programming for data cleansing, organization, transformation, and maintenance
- 4Participate in establishing design standards for software and systems development
- 5Collaborate on reviewing business requirements to align data operations with organizational objectives
- 6Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- 7Provide support escalation and enhance existing tools as needed
- 8Contribute to infrastructure as code practices and CI/CD pipelines
- 9Ensure data compatibility and integrity across all data connections and storage systems
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 3 years of data engineering experience
- 2Hands-on experience with SQL Python Java or VBA
- 3Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as Snowflake MongoDB DynamoDB Redis HBase Cassandra
- 4Demonstrated ability to contribute across development phases including design implementation and testing
- 5Passionate about collaborative data engineering projects
- 6Strong troubleshooting skills for complex issues
- 7Adaptable to agile environments with changing requirements
- 8Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field
- 9Experience with queuing technologies containers CI/CD security infrastructure as code
