What You'll Do8
- 1Implement Cosentino's Customer Service Standards to greet and assist shoppers in the dairy aisle.
- 2Unload shipments and stock shelves within 90 days, matching UPC codes to shelf tags and facing products forward.
- 3Rotate stock by expiration date, pulling expired items and following damage claim procedures.
- 4Maintain clean and organized back room and cooler/freezer areas, ready for new deliveries.
- 5Monitor and record inventory levels, supporting the store's annual inventory count.
- 6Operate and clean equipment safely, including pallet jacks and balers.
- 7Enforce health regulations and sanitation guidelines, keeping the department safe for customers and peers.
- 8Answer customer questions about dairy products, resolving complaints or escalating to management when needed.
Requirements7
- 11+ years ordering and 1+ years inventory control in a grocery setting.
- 21+ years food handling experience with knowledge of proper storage and rotation.
- 3High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on hard surfaces for long shifts.
- 5Comfortable working in cooler/freezer environments and climbing ladders up to 5 feet.
- 6Strong math and reading skills to manage pricing and UPC matching.
- 7Completion of Cosentino Learning Plan training modules.
