You will own the dairy and frozen sections at Sprouts Farmers Market, keeping shelves stocked, cases clean, and product fresh for a high-volume grocery store. What You'll Do10
- 1Stock dairy and frozen cases, facing and filling products per department schematics.
- 2Rotate stock, discarding outdated or spoiled items to maintain freshness.
- 3Clean shelves, products, and floors, removing spills and debris for safety.
- 4Assist customers with product selection, answering questions and offering suggestions.
- 5Receive and inspect shipments, logging accuracy in counts, temperature, and quality.
- 6Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and pallet jacks to prepare and move products.
- 7Weigh and label products accurately using scales and weight measures.
- 8Monitor point-of-purchase signs, including recipe cards and promotional materials.
- 9Walk the department regularly to ensure organized, clean presentation.
- 10Follow all safety and health regulations, including OSHA and Weights and Measures.
Requirements9
- 1Be at least 16 years of age.
- 2Lift and transfer boxes or crates weighing 40-60 lbs from heights up to 72 inches for distances up to 10 feet.
- 3Walk up to 5 miles during an 8-hour shift.
- 4Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 5Stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- 6Use a 2-step stool to reach high shelves.
- 7Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
