Dairy Associate - Stocking & Customer Service
Overview
You will own the Dairy Department's inventory and presentation at a Philadelphia-area store. You'll keep shelves stocked with milk, eggs, cheese, and yogurt while ensuring safety and sanitation compliance. Working alongside a small team, you'll handle daily stocking and customer assistance. What You'll Do8
- 1Stock dairy products including milk, eggs, cheese, and yogurt, ensuring shelves are full and rotated.
- 2Maintain a clean and safe work area, following OSHA and federal sanitation standards.
- 3Remove expired or damaged products and organize displays for easy customer access.
- 4Assist customers with product locations and answer questions about dairy items.
- 5Unload delivery trucks and move product to the sales floor using pallet jacks.
- 6Operate Microsoft Office for inventory logs and order tracking.
- 7Communicate stock issues or shortages to the department lead.
- 8Follow all company policies for food safety and hygiene.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 20-1+ years experience in a dairy or grocery department.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
- 5Ability to travel independently by car or plane.
- 6Regular and predictable attendance.
