Customer Service Representative, Veterinary Practice

You will own the client experience at Mill Springs Animal Hospital, from the first phone call to the final goodbye. You will be the face and voice of the practice, ensuring every pet parent feels heard and supported. What You'll Do8
- 1Answer the practice phones and schedule well, sick, and surgical appointments with precision
- 2Greet clients and patients by name upon arrival, notifying technical staff and managing the lobby flow
- 3Issue invoices and process payments after each appointment, verifying accuracy
- 4Return emails and phone calls within the same day, using the client's preferred method (phone, email, text)
- 5Confirm all appointments the prior day, making necessary adjustments to the schedule
- 6Keep the lobby clean and organized at all times, ensuring a welcoming environment
- 7Train new staff members on front-office procedures and client communication protocols
- 8Provide backup support to technical staff by loading rooms or discharging patients when primary staff are occupied
Requirements6
- 11+ years of experience in a veterinary practice or customer-facing role
- 2Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 3Compassionate and professional demeanor during emotional and stressful situations
- 4Strong telephone and computer skills, including practice management systems
- 5A team player who embraces change, learns new techniques, and offers creative ideas
