Customer Service Representative, U-Haul Equipment & Rentals
Overview
Own the customer service journey at U-Haul in Phoenix by assisting customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and vehicle hookups at scale. You will engage with smartphones to manage inventory and dispatch, while learning on the job through U-Haul University. This role blends hands-on field work with frontline guest interactions to ensure dependable transportation support.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build rapport with customers and educate them on products and services
- 2Use smartphone based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
- 3Move and hook up trucks and trailers to prepare for customer use
- 4Inspect and clean equipment and verify fluid levels on the lot
- 5Install hitches and trailer wiring and assist with propanes and forklift operations when certified
Requirements5
- 1Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- 4Comfort working in various environments and with moving parts and chemicals
- 5Willingness to participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University
