- 4Clean equipment and facility daily, including ovens and prep surfaces, following safety standards.
- 5Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone to confirm orders and resolve issues.
- 6Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- 7Maintain speed and precision in movements to assemble orders during peak hours.
- 8Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, handling hot surfaces up to 500 degrees and sharp edges safely.
Requirements8
- 118 years or older to work in this role.
- 2Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, using a calculator if needed.
- 3Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to process orders and communicate clearly.
- 4Motor coordination to make precise movements with speed, entering orders on keyboard or touch screen.
- 5Willingness to work in varying temperatures, from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above.
- 6Tolerance for cornmeal dust, food odors, and cramped quarters like walk-in cooler.
- 7Ability to lift and carry ingredients and supplies, and stand for extended periods.
