Overview

You will lead customer service operations at a major FBO in San Diego, overseeing a team that supports private aircraft crews and passengers. You will manage daily service delivery, staff training, and customer relations across 100+ locations. This role offers a direct path into the aviation industry with a growing company. You will work outdoors and indoors, coordinating with flight departments and high-profile clients.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Directly supervise Customer Service staff on uniform adherence, radio and phone procedures, and all policies.
  • 2Build rapport with new and repeat customers through proactive engagement.
  • 3Train, coach, and evaluate subordinate staff following established procedures.
  • 4Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • 5Encourage fuel upselling and ensure compliance with customer service policies.
  • 6Organize periodic departmental meetings and improve communication flows.
  • 7Manage CSR work schedules and recommend staffing levels to the Operations Manager.
  • 8Conduct performance reviews on probationary and annual schedules, addressing behavior as needed.
  • 9Assist in recruiting and interviewing CSR positions and support sales initiatives.

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 218+ years of age at minimum.
  • 3Proven customer service experience in a high-touch environment.
  • 4Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • 5Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • 6Valid state driver’s license required.
  • 7Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
  • 8Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 9Flexible schedule including overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty.
