We are seeking a friendly and motivated Customer ServiceRetail Associate to join our team at The Pierogie Kitchen in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. What You'll Do12
- 1Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- 2Operate POS systems for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- 3Assist customers with product description and answer questions about merchandise
- 4Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- 5Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves organizing displays and ensuring products are well-presented
- 6Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment
- 7Ensure the sales floor is clean organized and welcoming at all times
- 8Engage in retail sales activities to meet or exceed sales goals
- 9Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or customer calls
- 10Support supervising staff during busy periods or special events as needed
- 11Perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively
- 12Apply knowledge of merchandising stocking procedures and retail operations
Requirements9
- 1Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
- 2Familiarity with POS systems cashiering and basic retail math is advantageous
- 3Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is a plus
- 4Strong communication skills
- 5Ability to commute from Ambler PA 19002
- 6Willingness to work full-time part-time
- 7Pay range $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
- 8People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
- 9Ability to perform under pressure during holiday periods
