Customer Experience Coordinator Retail Store
Overview
You own the customer experience at the front of a TJ Maxx store, leading a team of Associates to deliver prompt, courteous service and promote loyalty programs. You role model outstanding service, train and mentor staff, and coordinate front-end operations like register assignments and breaks. You work directly with management to address customer concerns, ensure task execution, and maintain a clean, safe store. This role builds your leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead a team of Associates at the front of the store to ensure prompt, courteous customer service and loyalty program promotion.
- 2Train and coach Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting credit and loyalty programs.
- 3Assign registers, respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
- 4Address customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure a positive customer experience.
- 5Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan and prioritize as needed.
- 6Communicate accurately with management and Associates when setting priorities and provide progress updates.
- 7Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- 8Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- 9Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
Requirements8
- 11 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
- 2Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- 3Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
- 4Capable of multi-tasking.
- 5Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 6Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- 7Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- 8Able to train others.
