Customer Advocate, Vehicle Delivery & Customer Experience
Overview
You will own the customer delivery experience for Carvana, driving vehicles to customers' doors across the Bronx and surrounding areas. As part of the fastest-growing used automotive retailer, you will work with our custom car haulers and the Carvana delivery system. You will join a team of energetic advocates who prioritize customer happiness and operational excellence. This role stands out for its performance-based pay progression from $22 to $24 per hour in your first year, plus benefits like 100% company-paid healthcare and tuition reimbursement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver vehicles to customers' doorsteps using Carvana's custom car haulers, ensuring a memorable and positive customer experience.
- 2Load and unload vehicles onto the hauler, performing physical tasks that include detailing and inspecting each car for safety and quality.
- 3Complete customer paperwork accurately and log thorough notes in the Carvana tracking system to maintain clear records.
- 4Safely operate the hauler and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies, maintaining a clean driving record.
- 5Obtain and maintain a Notary license within the first 90 days, following state-specific requirements.
- 6Satisfy state-specific requirements for access to DMV and title/registration systems, including obtaining a Chauffeur's License if required (sponsored by Carvana).
- 7Work a rotating schedule that includes weekdays and weekends, with shifts available from 7am-5pm, 9am-7pm, or 11am-9pm.
- 8Engage with customers professionally, answering questions and ensuring they feel valued throughout the delivery process.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of customer-facing experience in any industry.
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record per Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy.
- 3Ability to obtain a Notary license within 90 days (Carvana sponsors the process).
- 4For IL, MI, LA, MO: obtain a Chauffeur's License within 2 weeks; for CA: Vehicle Verifier license; for NV, TN, VA: Salesperson License.
- 5Physical capability to perform demanding tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for 8+ hours.
- 6Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).
- 7Must be at least 21 years old and pass a drug test and obtain a DOT Medical Card.
- 8Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- 9Must be available to work 7 days a week with rotating days off.
