What You'll Do9
- 1Perform CT scans independently while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- 2Conduct data entry using hospital software packages
- 3Transport patients safely and assist with positioning using proper techniques
- 4Administer contrast materials and manage acute reactions
- 5Evaluate image quality and annotate findings according to protocols
- 6Maintain equipment efficiency and perform quality control testing
- 7Rotate through departmental duties based on staffing needs
- 8Collaborate with radiologists and support staff for optimal workflow
- 9Document all procedures and maintain an organized workspace
Requirements7
- 1Associates Degree in CT physics and cross-sectional anatomy preferred
- 21 year general radiology experience required
- 3Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRTLC) or equivalent state certification
- 4Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 5AZ Certified CT Technologist (CTCT) or current NMTCB certification
- 612 months to obtain permanent state license
- 7Arizona Medical Board registration
