Credit Solutions Advisor, Mortgage Origination
Overview
As a Credit Solutions Advisor at Bank of America in Sunset Park, you will own the full client lending journey, from first call to loan closing, for residential mortgage HELOC and First Mortgage products. You will report to the financial center leadership and collaborate with a team of banking professionals to deepen client relationships and drive Responsible Growth. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and deepen client relationships by leveraging the full spectrum of Bank of America borrowing and banking offerings.
- 2Analyze financial and credit data to recommend tailored lending solutions that align with each client's life plan.
- 3Present mortgage product options, submit applications, and guide clients through documentation and closing.
- 4Proactively manage your pipeline with outbound calls, emails, and online messaging to keep clients informed.
- 5Partner with financial center leaders to coach associates on delivering an exceptional client experience.
- 6Refer clients to internal partners for auto loans, credit cards, and core banking products.
- 7Maintain SAFE Act registration and comply with all federal and state regulations.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of mortgage origination experience in a retail environment.
- 2Proven consultative sales skills and ability to assess client needs.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication for in-person and phone interactions.
- 4Critical thinking to analyze complex financial data and credit reports.
- 5Commitment to regulatory compliance, including SAFE Act registration.
- 6Comfort with technology, including MS Office and laptop usage.
- 7Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
- 8Desired: Experience with Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, and Government mortgage products.
