You will lead a classroom of future Cosmetologists at Hollywood Institute of Beauty Careers. You own student outcomes: passing rates on State Board exams, retention, and satisfaction. You bring 3+ years of salon experience and a state license. You create a positive, hands-on learning environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver active lessons and lectures that drive student engagement and participation.
- 2Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams with detailed feedback.
- 3Manage classroom dynamics, enforcing school rules and regulations consistently.
- 4Model and enforce safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- 5Push students toward passing scores on State Board licensure exams.
- 6Coach students to improve retention and satisfaction metrics.
- 7Complete administrative duties: attendance, records, and reports.
Requirements5
- 13+ years of field experience in cosmetology.
- 2Current State License in Cosmetology.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- 4Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- 5Ability to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
Salary Insight
$18 - $23k per year
