Overview
Own the cosmetics checkout experience at a high-volume Walmart Supercenter in Charlotte, NC. You will handle transactions, manage returns, and keep the register area stocked and clean. What You'll Do7
- 1Greet customers and process purchases with Walmart point-of-sale systems, ensuring accurate transactions and minimal wait times.
- 2Resolve returns and exchanges at the service desk, verifying receipts and following Walmart policy.
- 3Restock impulse-buy items and cosmetics displays near the register, keeping shelves full and front-facing.
- 4Report inventory shortages or damaged products to the department lead using Walmart handheld devices.
- 5Answer customer questions about product locations and store promotions, escalating complex issues to management.
- 6Complete daily cash reconciliation and follow all Walmart cash handling procedures.
- 7Assist with seasonal resets and merchandising updates for the cosmetics department.
Requirements6
- 16+ months of cashier or retail experience in a fast-paced store environment.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Availability to work mid-shift (10am-7pm) or closing (2pm-11pm), including weekends and holidays.
- 4Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 5Basic math and reading skills to handle cash and process transactions.
- 6Comfort using touchscreen registers and handheld devices.
