What You'll Do9
- 1Assist physicians during Botox, filler, laser, and chemical peel procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- 2Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation, for every cosmetic visit.
- 3Administer medications as directed and monitor patients for adverse reactions post-treatment.
- 4Perform blood draws, suture removals, and dressing changes with precision.
- 5Educate patients on procedures, aftercare, and wellness practices, clarifying all post-treatment instructions.
- 6Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile supplies for daily procedures.
- 7Manage patient records, prescriptions, and prior authorizations with accuracy.
- 8Facilitate product sales and aesthetic service education to enhance patient outcomes.
- 9Answer phone calls and patient messages, ensuring timely communication of lab and pathology results.
Requirements10
- 1Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- 21-2 years experience in dermatology or cosmetic procedures preferred.
- 3Strong knowledge of Botox, fillers, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
- 4Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic medical assessments.
- 5Experience with medication administration protocols and aseptic techniques.
- 6Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dermatological treatments.
- 7Full compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- 8Bilingual English-Spanish required.
- 9Ability to work onsite in Miami with consistent attendance.
