What You'll Do19

- 2Report for scheduled shifts on time and report to assigned kitchen area promptly
- 3Execute advanced food preparation and cooking techniques according to recipes and culinary standards
- 4Prepare and cook menu items independently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- 5Assist chefs and kitchen leadership with daily production prep lists and station organization
- 6Oversee assigned stations and ensure readiness throughout service periods
- 7Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations walk-ins coolers and storage areas
- 8Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitation and health regulations
- 9Assist with inventory rotation product labeling and quality control procedures
- 10Communicate effectively with chefs supervisors runners attendants and fellow team members
- 11Support training and guidance of less experienced kitchen staff as needed
- 12Maintain high standards of food quality portioning and presentation
- 13Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment and tools
- 14Complete prep work production tasks and side work in a timely and efficient manner
- 15Maintain extensive knowledge of menu items ingredients and daily specials
- 16Assist with receiving inspecting and storing deliveries as needed
- 17Complete all closing duties and check out with supervisor or manager before leaving
- 18May be reassigned to different kitchen or service areas based on operational needs
- 19Work flexible schedule including days nights weekends and holidays
Requirements14
- 1High School Diploma or GED equivalent culinary degree or certificate preferred
- 2Minimum two years of experience in fast-paced restaurant catering hospitality or food service
- 3Strong knowledge of cooking methods food preparation and kitchen safety standards
- 4Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-volume kitchen environment
- 5Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- 6Dependable punctual proactive and self-motivated
- 7Ability to maintain clean sanitary work environment at all times
- 8Read and understand recipes prep lists and kitchen communications in basic English
- 9Perform simple mathematical calculations
