What You'll Do11
- 1Administer highly competitive major contracts by analyzing performance requirements and customer purchase orders.
- 2Negotiate price terms and deliverables across broad scope of responsibility.
- 3Manage change control processes with Program Manager and provide contractual leadership.
- 4Handle order entry scheduling and portal management for demand planning integration.
- 5Serve as subject matter expert on contracting processes and regulatory requirements.
- 6Lead bid initiation by coordinating cross‑functional inputs and drafting RFP responses.
- 7Analyze proposals and create complex responses for large‑scale financial impact.
- 8Investigate and resolve customer claims while monitoring contract compliance.
- 9Determine when customer‑directed changes fall outside scope boundaries.
- 10Act as primary point of contact for assigned contracts and present findings to stakeholders.
- 11Improve internal efficiency through process optimization initiatives.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with advanced degree preferred.
- 2Eight or more years of progressive contract management experience.
- 3Proven ability to negotiate complex proposals with major business impact.
- 4Certification in Contract Management or equivalent recognized credential.
- 5Experience with export regulatory requirements and federal contracting citizenship.
- 6Strong analytical skills to interpret data and recommend contract modifications.
- 7Knowledge of NCMA standards and best practices in contract administration.
- 8Ability to mentor junior staff and lead ad‑hoc teams.
- 9Experience planning and leading projects with increasing responsibility.
- 10Familiarity with S&OP processes and demand planning integration.
- 11Commitment to continuous professional development through industry association participation.
