Overview

The role owns the full lifecycle of federal contracts and subcontracts for a GovCon firm at scale. Collaborating with Business Development, Capture, Program Management, Finance, HR, and leadership, you will ensure compliant and timely contract execution. This position blends pre-award and post-award activities in a fast-paced government contracting environment and offers hybrid work with onsite days at HQ.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage the complete contract lifecycle from proposal support through contract closeout for federal primes, task orders, and subcontracts
  • 2Review solicitations, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and contract modifications to identify risks and obligations
  • 3Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, consulting agreements, and other documents
  • 4Coordinate with Business Development to identify contractual risks and proposal submission requirements
  • 5Ensure actions comply with FAR, DFARS, agency regulations, and company policies
  • 6Support negotiations with government customers, primes, subs, and vendors
  • 7Review subcontract terms and flow-down clauses and secure appropriate protections
  • 8Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, funding data, and status
  • 9Track milestones, options, periods of performance, funding changes, and deliverables
  • 10Provide contractual guidance in kick-off meetings and to program managers throughout execution

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field
  • 23+ years administering U.S. Federal Government contracts in a GovCon environment
  • 3Experience in a consulting company with strong FAR/DFARS knowledge
  • 4Experience supporting pre-award and post-award contract administration
  • 5Experience reviewing solicitations, negotiating terms, and processing modifications
  • 6Knowledge of contract types including FFP, T&M, Cost Reimbursable, and IDIQ
  • 7Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • 8Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple priorities
  • 9Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • 10Preferred: NCMA certifications such as CFCM, CPCM, CCCM; DoD and Federal proposals experience; active Secret clearance or ability to obtain
