Compounder or Process Tech - Personal Care Manufacturing
Overview
Naturich Labs, Inc. seeks a Compounder or Process Tech to lead manual operations in personal care product manufacturing. This role involves setting up and operating mixing equipment while ensuring product quality through collaboration with Quality Control. Candidates will manage batch preparation and maintain cleanliness standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Add chemicals dyes and other ingredients into compounding kettles according to approved procedures
- 2Review pick lists and verify material weights before batch compounding begins
- 3Compare product colors and consistencies against instrument readings and lab results
- 4Adjust temperature pressure and reaction flows based on equipment knowledge
- 5Set up operate and monitor tanks and mixing equipment using valves mixers and heating lines
- 6Batch products according to manufacturing instructions and complete accurate documentation
- 7Adjust pH and viscosity before releasing products to production lines
- 8Interface with Quality Control and Microbiology Lab Technicians
- 9Clean and sanitize equipment following SOPs
- 10Notify Compounding Manager about supply needs
- 11Support department by assuming additional duties as required
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 23+ years compounding experience in personal care or cosmetics manufacturing
- 3Experience in non-automated environments
- 4Knowledge of industrial homogenizers
- 5Physical ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
- 6Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing walking and kneeling
- 7Wear required PPE
