Overview
Own the compounding process for personal care and cosmetic products at Naturich Cosmetique Labs Inc, a Dallas-based manufacturer of natural and organic formulations. You will operate mixers, kettles, and homogenizers, work with Quality Control and Microbiology teams, and ensure each batch meets strict specifications. This role stands out for its 3+ years compounding requirement and a schedule featuring Tue-Sat afternoons, with flexible hours after six months.
What You'll Do8
- 1Add chemicals, dyes, and ingredients into compounding kettles per specifications in approved mixing instructions
- 2Review Pick Lists and Batch Record Audit Logs to verify material presence and accurate weights before starting batches
- 3Observe colors and consistencies, compare to instrument readings and lab standards, and adjust temperature, pressure, or flow as needed
- 4Set up, operate, and monitor tanks and mixing equipment including valves, mixers, side sweeps, and heating or cooling lines
- 5Adjust pH and viscosity of products before releasing to production lines, and validate final batch quality with Quality Control
- 6Complete all batch paperwork accurately, including Batch Records, Alcohol Logs, Cleaning Logs, Warehouse Transfer sheets, and Weighing Tickets
- 7Clean and sanitize equipment per SOPs and coordinate with Microbiology Lab technicians for testing
- 8Notify the Compounding Manager of equipment and supply needs to support the production schedule
Requirements7
- 13+ years of compounding experience in personal care or cosmetics manufacturing
- 2High School Diploma or GED
- 3Experience in a non-automated work environment
- 4Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing homogenizers
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- 6Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- 7Willingness to wear required PPE
