We seek a seasoned Communications Specialist III to drive advanced communication strategies for Academic Affairs at Denver Health. This mission-driven role supports life’s journey through purposeful messaging across internal and external channels. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to highlight academic programs and facilitate partnerships.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Develop and execute comprehensive academic communication plans aligning with strategic priorities
  • 2Ensure internal and external resources remain current impactful and user-friendly
  • 3Create high-quality audience-specific content for internal communications SharePoint social media press releases website and marketing campaigns
  • 4Lead editorial planning and content calendar development for cohesive storytelling
  • 5Produce monthly newsletter manage distribution list and monitor engagement metrics
  • 6Act as final reviewer for all collateral ensuring accuracy clarity consistency and brand adherence
  • 7Provide copyediting proofreading and quality control for marketing materials
  • 8Support media relations by assisting PIO with press materials and proactive pitches
  • 9Contribute to social media content creation and posting to promote research and education
  • 10Assist with executive communications including PowerPoint presentations
  • 11Represent Denver Health externally attending events

Requirements9

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Bachelor`s Degree in Communications Journalism or related field
  • 3Work Experience: 4-6 years with extensive writing requirements
  • 4Mastery of AP style
  • 5Skilled in video shooting and editing
  • 6Self-starter independent thinker with limited supervision
  • 7Excellent communication customer service and organizational abilities
  • 8Familiarity with Sharepoint Drupal Mailchimp and Meltwater
  • 9Experience with content management systems Sharepoint Drupal Mailchimp Meltwater
