What You'll Do7

  • 1Install walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines for commercial clients, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • 2Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
  • 3Perform routine maintenance checks on refrigeration equipment, including coil cleaning, refrigerant level checks, and component testing.
  • 4Communicate service needs and recommendations clearly to clients, providing excellent customer service.
  • 5Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities using digital tools.
  • 6Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology to improve service quality.
  • 7Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, handling refrigerants responsibly and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements7

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in refrigeration or HVAC preferred.
  • 2Proven experience as a refrigeration technician or similar role, with hands-on work in commercial systems.
  • 3Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, evaporators, and condensers.
  • 4Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams and control circuits.
  • 5Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently.
  • 6Valid driver's license and clean driving record for travel to client sites.
  • 7EPA certification for refrigerant handling is a plus.
