Overview
As a Commercial Pest Control Technician, you own the pest management process for commercial accounts, from initial inspection to treatment and prevention. You'll apply an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to protect facilities across offices, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing, and mixed-use sites. You'll be backed by a family-owned company operating since 1964, serving 16 states with a collaborative team culture. What You'll Do8
- 1Inspect commercial properties to identify pests, harborage areas, and conducive conditions.
- 2Apply IPM techniques to treat and prevent infestations, tailoring solutions per site.
- 3Maintain bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards meticulously, documenting results.
- 4Devise and explain personalized pest control plans to customers, addressing concerns calmly.
- 5Keep service vehicle and equipment in proper operating condition, following Arrow standards.
- 6Adapt to flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet customer service requirements.
- 7Pass and maintain state-required licensing and certification exams, plus internal technical tests.
- 8Communicate professionally and maintain a polished appearance in uniform.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid driver's license
- 3Ability to pass state-required licensing and certification exams
- 4Pass internal technical exams
- 5Available for 40+ hours weekly, flexible schedule
- 6Professional appearance, including wearing approved Arrow uniform
- 7Comfortable working in varied commercial environments (offices, restaurants, etc.)
Salary Insight
