Overview
Lead complex commercial litigation from inception to appeal focusing on insurance coverage disputes. Represent clients in federal district court and appellate levels. Own cases and drive outcomes while collaborating with senior counsel.
What You'll Do9
- 1Represent clients in complex commercial litigation from case inception through trial and appeal
- 2Draft pleadings dispositive motions briefs and other litigation documents
- 3Conduct legal research and prepare analytical memoranda
- 4Manage full discovery phases including written discovery document review and depositions
- 5Draft insurance coverage opinions and analyze complex coverage disputes
- 6Advise clients on coverage issues extra contractual claims and litigation strategy
- 7Work directly with clients witnesses experts opposing counsel and courts
- 8Participate in hearings mediations arbitrations and trial preparation
- 9Collaborate across offices on high profile litigation matters
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2CPC Card certification
- 3AWS Certified cloud architecture knowledge
- 4BCBA credential
- 55+ years constructing automated reporting dashboards using Python
- 63-5 seasons managing multi jurisdiction insurance disputes
- 7Active bar admission and good standing in District of Columbia jurisdiction
- 8Demonstrated expertise in insurance coverage litigation
- 9Strong analytical writing and oral advocacy skills
- 10Proven ability to manage multiple high stakes matters simultaneously
Salary Insight
$260 - $390k per year
