Overview
The Commercial Door Technician will own installation and repair of a range of commercial doors and hardware at customer sites across Columbus and surrounding areas. What You'll Do10
- 1Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial doors and door hardware with quality and safety in mind
- 2Identify opportunities to offer customers products and services that enhance accessibility and security
- 3Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
- 4Operate in a safety conscious manner at all times while performing duties
- 5Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure on-time project completion
- 6Maintain tools, equipment, and work area to support efficient service delivery
- 7Follow company policies and standards for quality, safety, and customer service
- 8Document service activities and communicate clearly with customers about work performed
- 9Assist in crane, welding, or fabrication tasks as needed to support project goals
- 10Support training and onboarding of new technicians and installers when required
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Able to safely lift 100 pounds overhead
- 3Commercial door experience and welding experience preferred; training available
- 4Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record
- 5Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service
- 6Ability to read and interpret job-related paperwork and instructions
- 7Willingness to travel within Columbus and surrounding areas as needed
- 8Experience in construction or as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, or mechanic is a plus
- 9Ability to pass background checks and drug screen as required
