ServiceMac seeks a Collections Specialist to lead resolution of delinquent mortgage accounts. The ideal candidate will operate in a fast paced environment while maintaining compliance with regulations. This role drives customer satisfaction through skilled negotiation and clear communication.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform inbound and outbound collection calls across all delinquency stages
- 2Research and resolve root causes of customer delinquency
- 3Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
- 4Provide exceptional service by resolving complex account issues
- 5Review accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- 6Analyze borrower financials to determine appropriate payment arrangements
- 7Navigate sensitive customer situations with professionalism
- 8Manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines
- 9Document resolutions and escalate issues when necessary
Requirements9
- 1High School diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years mortgage service experience
- 2Proven knowledge of state and federal Fair Debt Collection Laws
- 3Understanding of U.S. Bankruptcy Code and bankruptcy procedures
- 4Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- 5Ability to thrive in a fast paced call center environment
- 6Experience with collections software and CRM platforms
- 7Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA preferred
- 8Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- 9Excellent attention to detail and time management capabilities
