Overview
Aerotek seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Detroit team. This permanent role involves operating numerically controlled machine tools and executing precise progressive machining operations. Candidates must ensure parts meet exacting tolerance and finish standards while managing workload demands.
What You'll Do9
- 1Operate numerically controlled machine tools
- 2Perform complex machining operations to exacting tolerance and specifications
- 3Check parts for conformance to specifications
- 4Run multiple units simultaneously if necessary
- 5Program CNC 3 Axis vertical mills
- 6Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills
- 7Understand and apply Fanuc and G&M codes
- 8Perform quality checks and make necessary machine offsets
- 9Read and interpret part designs and CAD blueprints
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading CNC programming projects
- 33 years experience with tool changes and edits of G&M codes
- 43 years proficiency with WorkNC CAM or RTM/Lemoine CAM Software
- 55+ years experience with Fanuc controllers
