What You'll Do8
- 1Provides personal care services to patients
- 2Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics for ambulation transferring positioning household chores
- 3Plans and prepares nutritious meals assists with feeding as assigned
- 4Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned
- 5Observes reports and documents any changes in patient status
- 6Follows written instructions for personal care prepared by registered nurse
- 7Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist
- 8Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar acetone albumin
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Current state certification nurse assistant as per state requirements
- 3CNA experience within last two years
- 4Valid driver's license reliable transportation liability insurance
- 5Experience with safety principles body mechanics
