Overview
CNA position on the day shift provides routine nursing care and support to residents in a facility setting. You will work with nursing staff to document care plans, assist with daily activities, and ensure resident comfort and safety. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain a safe resident environment and escort residents to rooms
- 2Record observations and changes in residents’ condition and report to Nurse Supervisor
- 3Assist with daily living activities and personal care while protecting privacy
- 4Prepare residents for meals, therapies, and medical tests and ensure comfort
- 5Observe for skin issues and report pressure areas or injuries
- 6Handle supplies and equipment safely and report any equipment issues
- 7Assist with transfers, transports, and positioning to support mobility
- 8Respond promptly to resident calls and ensure timely assistance
- 9Participate in shift handoffs and nursing reports to improve service quality
- 10Follow facility policies on infection control and safety procedures
Requirements10
- 1Must possess a license as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws
- 210th grade education minimum
- 3Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and procedural manuals
- 4Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with managers and staff
- 5Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and assist with patient transfers
- 6CPR certification preferred
- 7Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona
- 8Good interpersonal skills and ability to cooperate with inter-departmental personnel
- 9Ability to follow written and oral instructions and maintain confidentiality
- 10Must be able to work a daytime shift and comply with facility policies
