Overview
We seek a Cloud Infrastructure & System Engineer to lead our AWS environment while supporting a hybrid tech stack. This role blends deep infrastructure ownership with broad technical versatility. You will architect scalable solutions and partner with developers to drive innovation across our digital platforms.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own and manage AWS infrastructure including compute networking and security
- 2Design IaC using Terraform to standardize deployments
- 3Implement monitoring and observability for proactive issue resolution
- 4Lead backup and disaster recovery strategies with regular testing
- 5Collaborate with software teams to troubleshoot application dependencies
- 6Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning
- 7Bridge infrastructure needs with application development teams
- 8Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
- 9Maintain compliance and security standards across cloud resources
- 10Provide flexible support for diverse IT operations and projects
- 11Drive automation for routine infrastructure tasks
Requirements9
- 15+ years managing production cloud infrastructure with AWS expertise
- 2Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security principles
- 3Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- 4Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or CloudWatch
- 5Background in regulated industries such as banking or finance
- 6Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and scripting languages
- 7Experience with backup/disaster recovery processes
- 8Ability to adapt to evolving technology landscapes
- 9Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
