Cloud Computing Systems Engineer, Azure PaaS & Terraform
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of Azure cloud infrastructure for a long-term contract in Oakland, CA. You will build PaaS services including AKS and App Service, using Terraform for infrastructure as code. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to automate deployments and ensure reliability. What You'll Do7
- 1Design and implement Azure PaaS solutions using AKS and App Service for high availability.
- 2Write and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage cloud resources.
- 3Automate deployment pipelines for infrastructure changes with CI/CD tools.
- 4Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring and configuration tuning.
- 5Collaborate with developers to migrate workloads to Azure PaaS services.
- 6Implement security controls for network and access management across Azure.
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Azure infrastructure and PaaS environments.
Requirements8
- 15+ years experience as an Azure cloud engineer supporting PaaS services.
- 2Expertise in infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- 3Strong knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and App Service.
- 4Experience with networking and security in Azure, including VNet and NSG.
- 5Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- 6Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- 7Proven ability to review and write code, including sample creation.
- 8Must live in the Bay Area, CA and provide proof of residency and a LinkedIn profile with a picture.
