Clinical Research Assistant Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
Overview
Jefferson seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department. The role involves organizing and compiling clinical research data while tracking credentialing documentation for staff and researchers. Candidates will provide clerical and technical support to ensure protocol adherence and quality of information.
What You'll Do6
- 1Interact with co-workers visitors and staff consistent with Jefferson values
- 2Perform research database and clerical duties to support clinical trials assisting investigators organize gather and compile data
- 3Organize and maintain documentation required for clinical trial(s)
- 4Inform Principal Investigator and designated individuals about patient responses to treatment medication or adverse effects
- 5Assist with IRB filings and annual reviews
- 6Support enrollment of human subjects
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience preferred
- 2Knowledge of and ability to utilize tools techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data
- 3Understanding of legislation and regulatory bodies affecting healthcare practices
- 4Knowledge of office administration activities
- 5Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives prioritizing and allocating time effectively
- 6Physical Demands: Lift and carry 40-50 lbs examples push pull patients on bed stretcher requires 29 lbs push force lateral transfers up to 50 lbs of patient weight frequent standing walking patient transporters walk 8-10 miles per shift
- 7CPR training required for some patient care providers
