Lead the design and execution of clinical data integration strategies for a leading health technology company. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data pipelines and ensure alignment with industry standards. Drive improvements in data quality and interoperability across multiple vendors.
What You'll Do11
- 1Identify and resolve clinical data quality issues across multi-vendor EHR ecosystems
- 2Investigate root causes of data discrepancies at interface configuration and source levels
- 3Produce structured findings with actionable recommendations for engineering teams
- 4Map clinical data elements to standardized terminologies and validate mapping accuracy
- 5Support development of terminology mapping capabilities using rule-based and AI approaches
- 6Ensure clinical data completeness and accuracy for quality measure programs
- 7Validate measure logic and code sets against published specifications
- 8Identify data gaps affecting measure performance and collaborate on resolutions
- 9Serve as clinical subject matter expert for new data sources and AI extraction initiatives
- 10Provide clinical context for data governance and vendor engagement processes
- 11Maintain and improve interoperability through HIE and TEFCA data flow expertise
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing Medical Health Informatics Bioinformatics or related field
- 25+ years in clinical informatics healthcare data analysis or health information management
- 3Strong skills in querying analyzing and validating clinical data with Databricks Spark SQL experience preferred
- 4Solid understanding of HIT vocabularies and terminologies including C-CDA/CCD structures
- 5Deep knowledge of HL7 standards and structured exchange formats
- 6Experience with eCQM MIPS MCQM HEDIS and other quality measure specifications
- 7Proven ability to investigate complex data issues and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- 8Experience with cloud platforms Databricks AWS Snowflake for large-scale analysis
- 9Familiarity with FHIR resources and modern interoperability standards
- 10Knowledge of HIE data flows and TEFCA requirements
- 11Understanding of healthcare data governance and security best practices
