- 1Research and stay current with medical theological scientific and legal literature to inform advisory opinions
- 2Lead hospital-wide ethics initiatives and coordinate activities with clinical teams and patient families
- 3Design innovative education programs and practical tools to enhance ethical practices
- 4Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance ethics programs
- 5Analyze and interpret system policies regarding healthcare ethics and patient rights
- 6Review patient records to ensure adherence to ethics policies and best practices
- 7Provide guidance to leadership and staff based on findings from consultations
- 8Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements3
- 15+ years building ethics consultation experience including fellowship opportunities
- 2Masters in Healthcare Ethics or related field
- 32 years of clinical ethics consultation experience
