What You'll Do11
- 1Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
- 2Support individual or group student needs including self-care and social behavior
- 3Maintain safe classroom conditions conducive to learning
- 4Provide crisis intervention support for students in distress
- 5Apply varied instructional methods to boost student engagement
- 6Collaborate with educators to develop personalized learning strategies
- 7Document student progress and communicate observations to supervisors
- 8Prepare materials and organize classroom resources efficiently
- 9Implement behavior management techniques aligned with school policies
- 10Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols at all times
- 11Contribute to community building among students and staff
Requirements9
- 160 college credits or higher or Paraeducator Assessment scores
- 2Professional English proficiency
- 3Valid U.S. work authorization
- 4Physical stamina to stand and move throughout the day
- 5Ability to lift 20 pounds safely
- 6Prior experience with special needs populations
- 7Preference for ParaPro Certification or related experience
- 8Previous support work with children in school settings
- 9Understanding of special education best practices
