What You'll Do14
- 1Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- 2Transport construction materials equipment and supplies to multiple job sites daily
- 3Deliver materials safely and efficiently to support field crews and project schedules
- 4Perform thorough pre trip en route and post trip vehicle inspections
- 5Complete required DOT logs inspection reports mileage records and delivery documentation
- 6Secure all loads using proper load securement techniques and equipment
- 7Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts pallet jacks or manual labor
- 8Communicate effectively with dispatch warehouse personnel project managers and field supervisors
- 9Maintain a clean organized and safe commercial vehicle
- 10Report vehicle maintenance concerns promptly
- 11Observe all traffic laws and defensive driving practices
- 12Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude while representing MTH
- 13Assist with warehouse yard or general labor responsibilities when deliveries are complete
- 14Perform additional duties on job sites as assigned to support business operations
Requirements22
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one)
- 3Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience
- 4Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
- 5Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission commercial vehicles
- 6Strong commitment to workplace safety
- 7Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 8Dependable attendance and punctuality
- 9Preferred Current member of Laborers or Cement Masons Unions
- 10Experience delivering materials within the construction industry
- 11Flatbed hauling experience
- 12Experience securing oversized or irregular loads
- 13Forklift certification or experience
- 14Knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- 15Experience operating trailers or hauling heavy equipment
- 16Familiarity with electronic driver logs ELDs
- 17Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
- 18Frequently climb into and out of commercial trucks and trailers
- 19Bend stoop kneel squat push pull and reach throughout the workday
- 20Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat cold rain and snow
- 21Walk on uneven terrain and active construction sites
- 22Wear required personal protective equipment PPE at all times
