What You'll Do9
- 1Haul no-touch dry van freight on Southwest regional lanes with drop-and-hook loads.
- 2Drive 5–6 days each week, then return home for a 34–48 hour weekend reset.
- 3Inspect and operate assigned Kenworth, Freightliner, or International tractor, reporting any maintenance needs.
- 4Manage dispatch communication using 24/7 support to stay on schedule.
- 5Log miles and hours via electronic logging device, ensuring DOT compliance.
- 6Secure freight per company procedure, using proper load securement techniques.
- 7Handle detention and breakdown delays with documented pay for extra time.
- 8Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready.
- 9Collaborate with dispatch to maximize dispatched miles and on-time delivery.
Requirements6
- 1Valid Class A CDL.
- 26+ months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- 3Recent commercial driving experience within the last 90 days.
