What You'll Do7

  • 1Design hands-on activities that meet each child's developmental needs and interests.
  • 2Communicate daily milestones with parents through open, consistent updates.
  • 3Maintain a safe, clean classroom by following established health and safety procedures.
  • 4Step into any classroom or age group to provide coverage across the center or nearby locations.
  • 5Implement developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) to guide child interactions and learning.
  • 6Adapt activities in the moment to support individual learning styles and group dynamics.
  • 7Collaborate with teaching teams to ensure seamless care and curriculum delivery.

Requirements9

  • 118+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 2Preferred: college coursework in early childhood education, a CDA, or an associate or bachelor's degree in early education or a related field.
  • 3Preferred: 1+ year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
  • 4Required: demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
  • 5Must pass state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements.
  • 6Ability to frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10 to 40 pounds, and occasionally over 40 pounds.
  • 7Full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and fully participate in activities.
  • 8Respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.
  • 9Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy for essential job requirements.
