Requirements8
- 118 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
- 2College-level coursework in early childhood education or a CDA preferred.
- 31 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
- 4Demonstrated knowledge of DAP (developmentally appropriate practice) required.
- 5Pass state and company background checks and meet education and experience minimums.
- 6Ability to lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10 to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 40+ pounds occasionally.
- 7Full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and actively participate in activities.
- 8Mental and physical alertness to respond immediately to multiple or unexpected situations.
