We seek Certified Peer Support Specialists to deliver peer support within our Charlotte team. You will enhance recovery journeys through individualized guidance and community engagement. This role emphasizes scaling support initiatives while upholding ethical standards.

What You'll Do11

Requirements11

  • 1High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2Lived experience of mental illness or substance use disorder
  • 3Well established in recovery and currently stable
  • 4Hold a High School Diploma or GED
  • 5Supervised by a Qualified Professional
  • 6Not a family member of the individual receiving support
  • 7North Carolina certification as a Peer Support Specialist
  • 8Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with diversity
  • 9Personal qualities including patience and empathy
  • 10Ability to work well with others
  • 11Understanding of mental health and substance use treatments
