What You'll Do7

  • 1Provide occupational therapy services under OTR supervision
  • 2Implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
  • 3Utilize play-based interventions to improve fine motor visual motor sensory processing self-care functional skills
  • 4Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress
  • 5Educate families regarding home programs and treatment goals
  • 6Communicate effectively with therapists physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • 7Maintain a clean organized safe treatment environment

Requirements8

  • 1Associate degree from accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • 2Current Texas COTA license or eligibility for licensure
  • 3Current CPR certification
  • 4Strong communication and organizational skills
  • 5Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • 6Pediatric experience or Level II pediatric fieldwork
  • 7Experience with autism spectrum disorder ADHD developmental delays sensory processing differences neurological orthopedic diagnoses
  • 8Bilingual English Spanish preferred
