What You'll Do26
- 1Provide direct resident care including bathing grooming dressing toileting incontinence care oral hygiene and feeding
- 2Measure and record vital signs weight and meal intake
- 3Assist mobility transfers using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
- 4Respond promptly to call lights and report observations to nursing staff
- 5Maintain accurate documentation following facility procedures
- 6Follow infection control and universal precaution guidelines
- 7Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment
- 8Maintain a clean safe environment
- 9Perform routine round checks every two hours
- 10Provide postmortem care and skin assessments
- 11Modify behavior based on resident responses
- 12Contribute to MDS/CAA assessments and care plans
- 13Promote independent living through self-care assistance
- 14Use assistive devices for transfers dressing grooming eating and swallowing
- 15Maintain range of motion and proper positioning
- 16Assist with bowel bladder retraining and prosthetic device instruction
- 17Incorporate training activities with repetition and cueing
- 18Care for dementia residents responding to behaviors
- 19Allow personal choices and reinforce dignity-consistent behavior
- 20Utilize family as emotional support sources
- 21Demonstrate understanding of dementia symptoms and interventions
- 22Modify ADLs to maximize resident function
- 23Apply effective communication techniques for dementia patients
- 24Transport residents to activities
- 25Perform cleaning duties such as wheelchair assistance and sanitation
- 26Clean shower and whirlpool rooms kitchen areas on the nursing unit
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in good standing
- 3High School Graduate or GED
- 4Mechanical skills required
- 5Criminal background check clearance
- 6Computer proficiency necessary
- 7Residence in Michigan or Ohio
