What You'll Do8
- 1Drive Class A trucks on regional routes, including the Saturday Utah dispatch with 34-hour home resets.
- 2Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- 3Load and unload product using manual and powered equipment, handling up to 50 lbs.
- 4Navigate routes and adjust to weather and traffic conditions to hit delivery windows on time.
- 5Communicate with dispatchers and customers to confirm orders, resolve issues, and provide real-time updates.
- 6Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA hours-of-service rules.
- 7Represent KeHE professionally, delivering exceptional customer service at every stop.
- 8Complete delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately using ELD systems.
Requirements7
- 1Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- 212 months of verifiable driving experience, or less if you have a perfect MVR (no tickets or accidents).
- 3Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- 4Physical capability to lift and carry heavy loads, up to 50 lbs, and load/unload product.
- 5Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- 6Strong customer service and communication skills, aligned with KeHE's people-first values.
- 7Ability to work independently with a sense of ownership and accountability.
