What You'll Do8
- 1Drive Class A trucks to make deliveries across the MidAtlantic, Midwest, and Southeast regions, completing 2-4 stops per trailer.
- 2Unload boxes weighing 1-35 lbs onto conveyor belts at store locations, with store personnel handling inventory and merchandising.
- 3Train on the account for 2-4 days at $215/day, then transition to full responsibilities including pet and rider in the cab.
- 4Manage your 34-hour reset at home, often staying on a load; finish deliveries and head back to DC for the next load.
- 5Maintain a clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- 6Communicate with dispatch and store personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
- 7Ensure accurate and timely delivery of freight, meeting customer expectations.
- 8Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hours of service, vehicle inspection, and cargo securement.
Requirements7
- 121 years old with six months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last year or one year in the last 3 years.
- 2Hold a CDL in your current state of residence.
- 3No more than 3 jobs in the last year and no more than 6 jobs in the last three years.
- 4No more than two DOT preventable accidents in the last year, with none serious in the last five years (e.g., jackknife, rollover, rear-end with towed vehicle or injury).
- 5Allowed one moving violation in a personal vehicle in the last three years, but none in a commercial vehicle.
- 6No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, with none being major.
- 7Cannot be terminated for any cause from your last job.
