What You'll Do6
- 1Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
- 2Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
- 3Drive tractor-trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises
- 4Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations documenting delivery receipt product temperatures and exceptions
- 5Unload trailer delivering products into customer premises
- 6Other duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- 2At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- 3Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- 4Ability to read write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- 5Background check and drug screen may be required
