Overview
We seek a skilled Cath Lab Special Procedure Technologist to support advanced cardiovascular care. Assist credentialed providers with diagnostic interventional and therapeutic procedures in cardiac and vascular labs. Promote teamwork while reflecting KPNW mission goals. Work full-time onsite in Oregon City under direct supervision.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform diagnostic interventional procedures in cardiac and vascular laboratories
- 2Execute therapeutic interventions as directed by supervising providers
- 3Maintain sterile field and patient safety during all procedures
- 4Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- 5Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- 6Support equipment setup and maintenance for imaging modalities
- 7Assist with post-procedure patient monitoring and recovery
- 8Follow established protocols for radiation safety and infection control
- 9Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the laboratory
Requirements11
- 1Minimum twelve months cardiac cath lab experience within last three years
- 2Accredited radiologic technology program completion
- 3Current Radiologic Technologist certification in Washington or Oregon
- 4Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certificate within 12 months of hire
- 5Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire
- 6Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within two months of hire
- 7Proof of continuing education maintenance
- 8Customer-focused service approach
- 9Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 10Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- 11Compliance with 30-minute after-hours call response policy
Salary Insight
$125 - $133k per year
